The storage capacity depends on the size of the furniture. The drawer matches the width of the main mattress, is 8 cm shorter in length, and has a height of 18 cm. For a daybed designed for an 80×200 cm mattress, this provides storage space measuring up to 80×192 cm. You can choose between one or two drawers, each equipped with rubber-coated wheels that glide quietly and leave no marks on laminate flooring or hardwood floors.
The drawer option is available for both daybed models and all finishes, including custom RAL and NCS colours. This version is intended for storage rather than sleeping. What is the drawer in a daybed used for, and what can be stored in it?
The drawer is an open, spacious element on wheels that slides under the sofa. It is used to store bedding, blankets, or pillows used during the day. It is not designed for sleeping — a separate mattress drawer version is intended for that. The internal dimensions depend on the furniture size: the width matches the main mattress, the length is 8 cm shorter, and the height is 18 cm. For example, with an 80×200 cm mattress, the drawer interior measures up to 80×192 cm.
Does the drawer scratch the floor when pulled out?
No. The drawer is equipped with rubber-coated wheels that protect the floor from scratches and ensure quiet, smooth sliding. This solution works equally well on laminate, parquet, and tiles. You do not need to lift the drawer or use protective pads — it slides in and out with one simple movement.
Can I order one drawer or two drawers?
There are two options available in the configurator: one drawer or two drawers under the sofa. Both work in the same way and run on the same wheels — they differ in capacity and price. Two drawers allow you to separate stored items, for example bedding and pillows. The selection is made when placing the order.
Is the drawer included in the price?
The price shown on the product page already includes the drawer — there is no separate hidden surcharge for this element. The version with two drawers has its own price, also shown on the product page. The drawer is available for both models (N01 and N03) and in every offered color, including custom RAL and NCS shades.
What is a daybed, and what is it used for?
The bed sofa is a dual-purpose piece of furniture: during the day, it serves as a sofa, and at night, it becomes a full-size single sleeping space. The structure is enclosed on three sides with a wooden backrest that provides comfortable support and creates a natural separation from the wall. It can easily be styled with cushions to function as a sofa during the day. The furniture is made from solid pine wood, oak wood, or a combination of both, with no MDF or particleboard.
What are the differences between models N01 and N03?
Models N01 and N03 differ only in appearance — in the proportions and style of the wooden enclosure. The load-bearing structure, sofa function with sleeping space, weight capacity, and available finishes and sizes are identical in both. The choice between them is a matter of aesthetics and how well the design fits the interior, not functional differences.
What are the dimensions of the daybed?
The external dimensions depend on the selected mattress size and are 8 cm larger than the mattress in both length and width. For example, with an 80×200 cm mattress, the sofa measures 208 cm long and 88 cm wide. The furniture height, measured to the top edge of the backrest, is 76 cm, and the legs have a cross-section of 5.7×5.7 cm. What mattress sizes fit a daybed?
The bed sofa is available in 12 mattress sizes: widths of 80, 90, 100, or 120 cm and lengths of 180, 190, or 200 cm. The slatted base, made of three permanently bonded frame sections, is included in the price. The mattress is not included and should be selected and ordered separately. A narrower mattress makes the furniture resemble a classic sofa more closely, while wider sizes provide a full-size bed for everyday sleeping.
What types of wood and finishes are available for daybeds?
We make our bed sofas exclusively from solid pine wood, oak wood, or a combination of both — without MDF or particleboard. Standard finishes include: white, grey, white/oak, black/oak, clear pine, natural pine, natural oak, and bleached oak. Upon request, we can paint the furniture in any color from the RAL or NCS palette. The finishes are made using certified water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3 and safe for contact with a child’s skin.
How is a daybed assembled?
Assembly is simple and intuitive — it takes around 15 minutes and can easily be done by one person. The furniture is delivered with a complete set of premium fittings, screws, and clear instructions. The fittings are designed for repeated assembly and disassembly without losing stability, so you can easily take the sofa apart and reassemble it when moving house. Only basic tools are needed.
From what age can a daybed be used?
The bed sofa has no age restrictions — it works well in children’s rooms, teenagers’ rooms, and for adults. The 200 kg weight capacity and solid wood construction make it a piece of furniture for many years. For the youngest children who are just getting used to their own bed, a wooden fall-out guard can be purchased separately.
Can a safety rail be added to a daybed?
Yes. The wooden fall-out guard fits bed sofas and is ordered separately, just like for the other Nizio beds. It is made from solid pine wood and is available in the same colors as the furniture, so it matches the selected finish. It is especially useful for younger children who are just getting used to sleeping in their own bed.
What payment methods are available, and can I buy on installments?
Available payment methods and installment options are shown in the cart before checkout. The available methods depend on the delivery country — different payment providers and installment programs are supported in different countries, so the purchase can be paid in installments wherever this option is available. The system will automatically show the current options for your country based on the delivery address.
How much does a daybed cost, and what affects the price?
The price of each variant is shown directly on the product page in your local market currency. It depends on the model (N01 or N03), selected finish, and version: without a drawer, with a storage drawer, or with a mattress drawer. Oak finishes are the most expensive. Production takes 2–3 weeks, and you have 100 days to return the product without giving a reason.
Do you deliver daybeds internationally?
Yes. We ship bed sofas throughout Europe on pallets that protect the furniture during transport. Individual packages are carefully packed, and delivery time is 2–5 business days from dispatch. For Poland, Germany, and Austria, an additional room-of-choice delivery option is available in the cart.
What happens if the furniture arrives damaged?
The risk of damage is minimal thanks to pallet transport and careful packaging. Upon delivery, we recommend checking the shipment and taking photos if anything seems questionable. If any element turns out to be damaged, contact us — we will send a replacement without requiring the return of the entire piece of furniture. Checking the shipment with the courier helps with the process, but does not limit your right to report damage later.
Can I order wood or color samples before purchasing?
Yes. Upon request, we send samples so you can assess the color and wood grain in person before choosing a specific finish or custom RAL/NCS color.
